A bit of general updates on what’s up with me in this new year!
Posts and updates on this websites are still far and few in between, apologies to my avid readers(ha ha).
Work life Still pretty much enjoying my job situation at Wazo Communication Inc..
Working with competent people in a mostly comfortable, interesting technological ecosystem.
This opportunity to discover another industry where computing pays also got me started on a learning adventure in the history of telephony and computing, and the relationship between the two.

Interesting discovery: https://wonderos.org/ .
What I gather from a quick overview:
- system design “laboratory” for UX innovations beyond current OS user interface designs
- core idea of “items”/itemized UI as small composable UI components that OS graphical layer can arrange at user’s will(no separation of applications between windows requiring context switching or limited colocation and integration). Applications are responsible for rendering those components, but OS/user decides where.

Been a while since I updated this thing. Pretty much failed my resolution/intent to invest in this personal space… Let’s try again. Here’s some updates:
Left Big Corp Accenture, now working at Small Business Wazo Communication Inc. Different environment(positively), different & new challenges(also positive). Telecommunication is an interesting industry, technically and historically. Lots of stuff worth learning, and I’ll be learning stuff for a while I feel, which is good.
It’s been a while since my last post. How about a new section for unstructured summary of things I find relevant in my life right about now.
Still working @Accenture. Hey, it pays the bills. Mostly. Working on setting up personal self-owned services for storage, DNS, network traffic anonymity/security, infrastructure automation. Because it makes me feel less powerless. NAS Home and personal DNS Home network infra management VPN for Vultr VPS & Home Network access [VPS configuration management/OS migration] [Nix, NixOS] [Service discovery] [Monitoring, log storage & analysis] Setting up my own email server.

I’m building this website.
I have a few ideas on what I’d like to do with it.
For the content, here’s a few things:
talk about music: listing my favourites, reviewing them, inventoring my CD collection; talk about my favourite cinema & tv talk about tech projects I find interesting talk about the evolution of the website itself This post is part of that last category(see tag #meta).
Beyond content, I’d like to build this website on the principles of the IndieWeb.

Kinda late, right?
Better late than never, I hope.
